Simmons & Simmons is a leading international law firm, founded in the City of London. Simmons & Simmons Adaptive is their flexible resourcing platform in providing clients with first-rate lawyers.
Why was the project created?
Simmons & Simmons needed to find a way to manage the resourcing of projects with Clients. Adaptive connects Clients to lawyers through a rigorous selection of best lawyers to take on any project.
The goal was to create a platform where Simmons & Simmons could supplement client and internal projects with consultant lawyers. This includes onboarding consultants and assisting in selecting the best fit for each project.
We have 4 main features: placement management, consultants & clients management (CRM), billing, and matter management.

- The main block of the project. Create, and manage the lifecycle of placements; supply the ideal consultants to projects

It was my first time visiting London, and the workload was nonstop for two months. I led the product design and contributed my fair share to front-end development.
I was sent to London to work closely with the product and engineering teams, collaborating with the client. It was my first time visiting the city, and looking back, I wish I had explored more that time, as we were mostly indoors working heavily on the project.
The workload was nonstop for two months. I led the product design, while the engineering team developed what was approved by the product team. I also contributed my fair share to front-end development. Those two months were a mix of stress, gratitude, and excitement, especially since it was my first time in London.
Project shipped
As of 2020, Adaptive has been in use and widely adopted by the clients, and consultants of Simmons & Simmons. It has been a great help in managing the resourcing of projects with Clients. Adaptive connects Clients to lawyers through a rigorous selection of best lawyers to take on any project.
On the 4th quarter of 2019, Simmons & Simmons did a brand refresh, and now uses a bright coral palette.
